We are out at Marble Bar Road to survey the area for a new remotely controlled traveller information sign to replace this well used and weather beaten manual information sign.
This old sign has done well to inform travellers of existing road conditions however to change information comes at the cost of time, money and potential safety hazards. A 2 hour trip for the sign operator in potentially dangerous conditions will soon be a push of a button, allowing travellers to be informed earlier of changing conditions.
